Global Fashion Excellence Awards

The Global Fashion Excellence Awards (GFEA) is a salable trade association award, founded in 1998, whose membership consists of more than 500 of World’s foremost womenswear, menswear, jewelry, and accessory designers.


Global Fashion Excellence Awards, 2019 themed 'catwalk to educate a child'  community honors the best and brightest in the world fashion design at the Global Fashion Excellence Awards (GFEA).

 Founded in 1998, we have the highest honor in fashion and recognize the outstanding contributions made to global fashion in womenswear, menswear, accessories, and emerging talent, as well as journalism, creative vision, personal style, positive change, and lifetime achievement. 

Fashion exhibition, ball, gala, dinner and after fashion party is also encapsulated into the awards evening.

Nominations for each award category are submitted by the GFEA Fashion Awards Guild, an invitation-only network made up of the 500+ members of the GFEA, along with top fashion retailers, journalists, stylists, and influencers. The nominees, as well as recipients of the honorary awards, are ratified by the GFEA Board of Directors. The Guild also votes for the winners for Womenswear, Menswear and Accessory Designer of the Year, as well as the unified Fowcom Award for Emerging Talent.

The Global Fashion Excellence Awards, in partnership with Fowcom, will be hosted by a reputable host on Monday, October 28, at the Hilton Hotel, Istanbul, Turkey.

Global Fashion Excellence Awards is focused on promoting excellence in global fashion, supporting the future pipeline of creative
talent work and achieved through a range of charitable initiatives most especially a global campaign on children education.

The official partners of the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards include Globe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Globe Economic Development Council, Transnational Trade and Commerce Center, Fowcom, Globe Chamber Media, Globe Chamber World Business Forum and World Trade Summit and Expo.
